Accommodations

We can arrange lodging and board in the RWI private residence or with a host family. The private residence is a comfortable western style accommodation with hot water and toilets. The family stay may involve dirt floor homes, wooden beds, outhouses, and cold water, depending on the home and living conditions of the host family. The home stay may be somewhat physically uncomfortable for travelers, but provides the incredibly unique opportunity to experience the life of an indigenous family in rural Guatemala.

Lodging cost: US$20 per night per person

Meals: US$3 per meal per person
