Antonio Gregorio Sohom Tzaj
Antonio Gregorio Sohom was born on September 6, 1986. He lives in the village of Xejuyup, Nahualá, Sololá. Antonio attends the Universidad Mariano Gálvez in Mazatenango, where he studies Systems Engineering.
After obtaining a teaching qualification in 2009, he wanted to study towards a college degree. Having two children of his own and his parents being unable to support him, Antonio began working at the National Police Department in Santa Catarina Ixtahuacán. In 2011 he joined the Roots and Wings Scholarship Program and started his engineering degree.
Antonio's goal is to become a well prepared professional and acquire more knowledge. When he graduates, he wishes to open his own computer lab to teach children all that he has learned. (Meet more scholars...)
