Miguel Lamberto Sohom Tzáj
Miguel is an exceptional student from Xejuyup, Sololá. Although he graduated suma cum laude, Miguel was not able to attend his high school graduation because his family could not afford the costs associated with the graduation ceremonies. Instead, he spent the day working in the fields. Miguel is 26 years old, married and has one child. He currently works as an elementary school teacher in his community. Since he was a child, Miguel has always dreamed of studying medicine and is now fulfilling that dream studying at University Rafael Landívar en Xela. (Meet more scholars...)
