Micaela is 20 years old and is from the village of Xejuyup. She is the third of seven siblings and the second person in her family to study at the university level. Micaela is now studying at the University Mariano Gálvez to become a high school teacher . Her vision is to graduate as a teacher and utilize her knowledge to develop educational opportunities in Guatemala.
