Computers for kids

Our Computer Lab

Our Computer Lab officially started in May 2009. We have five computers currently available for the students and public in the village of Pasac in Nahuala, Solola (population: 1,500).

There has been an overwhelmingly positive response to our Computer Lab program. Children of all ages and adults wait in line for their turn to learn how to use a computer.

Our goal in 2010 is to have 25 computers and eventually more to serve surrounding communities. We use the computers to assist our elementary tutoring program, as a space for our university scholarship recipients to work, and to give computer classes to the general public.

Your donation will help us to maintain the computers and help pay for electricity and the teacher.
