25Computers for Guatemala

25Computers is an initiative to expand and build new computer labs for impoverished students in Guatemala. Today, Guatemalans in the Roots & Wings computer lab have access to only five laptops. With your help, we hope to collect 25 computers by August 31, 2009.

Waiting in Line for a Turn at Transformation

A mere two months ago, five laptop computers donated by American University, Washington College of Law were flown from Washington, DC to our new computer lab in rural Guatemala. Already, the success is astounding. Children as well as adults wait in long lines to benefit from the new computer classes we offer to our tutoring students as well as the general public.

Atop makeshift desks, these high-tech resources captivate the rural Guatemalan school children and provide a potential future beyond subsistence farming.

Help us expand our reach and provide more opportunities to more children. Donate a computer or make a cash contribution today.
