Roots and Wings International’s Live Broadcast to Raise Funds
On August 19, 2009, the Seattle-based nonprofit Jolkona Foundation held a live broadcast featuring Roots and Wings International. The purpose of the live event was to raise funds for RWI’s Computer Literacy for Kids project ($60 per year per student for one year).

What is K'iche?
You have heard K’iche referenced in Roots and Wings International’s (RWI) literature. RWI teaches through K’iche in its schools in Guatemala. Nearly all of RWI’s students speak K’iche. Aha! There’s a clue! K’iche is spoken, so it must be a language! Well, now we’re getting somewhere.
