RWI volunteer publishes article in Savvy Woman

One of Roots and Wings International’s (RWI) dedicated volunteers, Killeen Gonzalez, has impressed us yet again. She has penned a new article in Savvy Woman, an online women’s publication, about how RWI volunteers make a lasting difference in the world. You’ll find interesting tidbits on two of RWI’s major movers, like what they believe in, what drives them and what it takes to be a successful volunteer.

Two specific volunteers, Anna Heatherly and Tammy Chiang, are interviewed. Killeen has also included two RWI Guatemalan scholars in her interview to round out the piece.

If you’d like a look at Killeen’s mini biographies of a couple of RWI insiders, you’ll benefit greatly from reading her article published in Savvy Woman. Click here to view the article.

Here is an excerpt about two of RWI’s star volunteers:

“As for their future plans, both women want to continue their work with RWI, including assisting with the opening of RWI’s university preparatory school in 2010 as well as possibly expanding their work to other impoverished regions.”

The excitement continues in the rest of the article.  Read her article in Savvy Woman here!
